I find it amazing that the people that say “Can’t we all just get along?” mean with everyone else except us.  Might be generalizing here, but …  it seems “they” mean everyone except “Christians”.

Jesus is the Way.  We want everyone else to join us with Him in Heaven!

Jesus instructed us to Love our neighbors, Love our enemies even.

But does that mean we have to accept their bad behaviors?  No, it doesn’t.

Jesus instructed us on many aspects of this.  Pray for your enemies.

Forgive them?  Yes, but in Luke, it specifies “if they repent”.  Repent?  That means stop doing what is wrong.

Luke 17:3-4  “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.  Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Now, in this verse, brother or sister means a fellow disciple, which makes me think that is a fellow Christian.  But, we’ll have more on that later.

Jesus said to ‘brush the dust off your sandals and walk away’…?

Matthew 10:14  The Message (MSG) “When you knock on a door, be courteous in your greeting. If they welcome you, be gentle in your conversation. If they don’t welcome you, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way. You can be sure that on Judgment Day they’ll be mighty sorry—but it’s no concern of yours now.

If you lie, that is a sin, and yes, I might call you on it.  One of the 10 commandments say not to.  Having other gods also.

Basically, I will share Jesus.  I will love the sinner, yet hate the sin.  Yet, I will not accept the behavior.  So, can’t we get along?  Will “you all” accept us as we are?
